![]() I know you can load custom scripts into the GUI editor (you don’t need to go full JASS) but I think if you could create entries it might allow people to create packs (share-able script addons) of helpful functions for people who are less programmer savy. Of course now it’s not a problem just use JASS, but I really hope the team can add the concept of local variables or something like that for people who want to stay out of JASS/custom script.Ībility to create an entry into the editor’s GUI system, for example create a function in JASS/GUI with inputs and outputs that can be it’s own function entered into the GUI system (conditions/events/etc). When I was a kid trying to make maps I could do a lot of stuff and it was quite fun but then the local variable issue came up and it was quite frustrating. (used search feature and found this thread) ![]() Just wanted to add to the please allow local variable feature into the editor’s simple script.
